IT WAS REALLY AMAZING SEEING ALL OF THEM COMING OUT OF THE WATER, REJOICING AND SCREAMING, "HALLELUJAH!"

THE CHURCH
First Baptist Church of Fort Dauphin, or Ny Fiangonana Batista Biblika eto Fort Dauphin (FBB FD), is an Indigenous Church Planting movement that seeks to unite all people to Christ in love by making disciples for the glory of God. FBB FD is Christ-centered, Bible-based, prayer-focused, disciple-making, and mission-minded and is committed to multiplication by planting more churches. The Church is turning four years old and growing healthy, engaging in personal and corporate evangelism efforts weekly through preaching and proclaiming the gospel around town and villages. We have seen thousands of professions of faith in different places that our church missionaries go to in the bush of Anosy and Androy. The Church has baptized hundreds of people and made them disciples who become disciple-makers. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are equipped to serve outside and inside our church walls. We reach out to those within our community and beyond to extend an invitation to accept Christ as Savior and Lord, follow His teachings revealed through Scripture, the preached Word, and fulfill the Great Commission. The church sends missionaries locally, and this year, the church has its first overseas missionary couple going to Fort Worth, Texas, to study and be a blessing to the nation.
